This report comes from a culmination of Westpac data captured on how consumers have responded to the Federal Budget, and how this can be understood to relate to spending and the impacts of consumer sentiment with this rating.
The Consumer sentiment index shows the Budget has been well received. The survey was conducted over the period of April 1 to 5 and captures consumer reactions to the Federal Budget.
